Frequently Asked Questions
Where are your machines made?
We work with Chinese manufacturers to bring you a quality loader at a lower cost.
How easy are parts to get?
We keep most parts on hand at our Dealer Chipper LLC in Cumming, GA so that we can provide you with minimum down time.
Why would I want to buy an Iron Rhino over another Chinese made loader?
We run an equipment rental business with Iron Rhino loaders in our fleet, we monitor and test the equipment we sell. We continually work with the manufacturers to improve the design based on our experiences. We pay the manufacturer a higher price to improve the machines sent to us and to provide prompt warranty service. We created the Iron Rhino brand to differentiate ourselves for sales and service. We provide our customers with a USA point of service for warranty repairs and parts. We keep virtually every single part on hand at our facility for fast parts delivery. We only service the machines we sell to keep our mechanics with the most knowledge on our machines and to keep our service lead times short. Our goal is maximum up time for our machines.
Why should I go with Iron Rhino instead of one of the more established large brand manufacturers?
#1 Purchase Price: Iron Rhino is here to provide a high-quality product at a lower cost than the other well-known brands. Keep more money in your pocket for other expenses or to add a second machine.
#2 Easy to work on. Built simple and strong.
#3 Lower parts cost, no insane parts cost.
4# Parts stocking. We stock parts in house to provide you with minimum down time.
5# Fast warranty turn around
Are there physical differences between your machines and the other similar looking Chinese models?
We have a relationship with our manufacturer to constantly improve our machines. So far, we have worked with them to improve the quick attach plates, operator platforms, hub design and hose routing. We also have counterweights standard on many of our units for higher tip capacity.
What if I am out of your local service area and need a repair?
We do have a provision for repairs outside our service area. We guarantee 100%, there will not be any out of pocket for any repair of defective equipment if brought to us. However, if distance is prohibitive and you need a repair, we have a program for that, the first step is a senior mechanic will see if they can help you troubleshoot the repair, and we can even walk you through how to repair if we can diagnose over the phone via pictures and videos. The advantage of this is your machine never goes out of service sitting in the shop waiting weeks for a warranty repair. We will diagnose and help you fix the problem. If it is not able to diagnose over the phone or the repair is outside your capabilities, you can take the machine to a shop of your choice. The mechanic should document with photos, we provide parts shipped free, you submit photos and invoice to us. Our senior mechanic will review the invoice. Let’s say your mechanic billed 3 hours at $120 per hour but it should be a two-hour repair and our labor rate is $110/hr. You paid 3×120 = $360. We would reimburse 2×110 = $220 so you would wind up eating $140 of the repair cost. However, if you have a good local mechanic with better rates and they billed 2 hours at $110 we would reimburse the full amount. From this example you can see the risk is minimal for your out-of-pocket expense. You can also see the advantage of simple repairs not leaving you out of service while waiting for a dealer to get your machine into a shop. As an example, we are a dealer for Iron-Rhino but we also purchase Case, Kubota, Toro and Bobcat machines and wait as long as two months for warranty repairs. Often, we can assist you to diagnose and repair the same day with no wait. Our shop keeps short lead times because we only support and service what we sell. We do not accept any outside work to keep short lead times to support what we sell. Our goal is to maximize your machine uptime.
